Wall Tool

Hi all, I have just setup PlusSpec for the first time and I have watched a lot of videos on how to.
My question is that in the wall tool I can’t see Brick veneer as a selection but is does have the multi skin
option. Even when I use the Masonry cavity with timbers supposedly selected my drawing only shows
outer skin and insulation but no timber framing. Have I missed something in the setting because I thought
that it was already set up as a selection.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Ray,

Thanks for reaching out. Would it be possible to get a screenshot of this issue you are having?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Ray,

To follow up on your post, ‘Brick Veneer’ appears as ‘Masonry Veneer’ as you can have both brick and block for the masonry skin.

Additionally, the framing wouldn’t be appearing as the layer is turned off by default. There are two ways to view the framing, which are:

  1. Go to the SketchUp ‘Layer Manager’ and turn on the ‘17A_FRAME’ layer. To enable to Layer Manager go to Window > Default Tray > and select the ‘Layers’ option (if it isn’t already selected).
  2. Use the PlusSpec ‘Scene Tool’ to create their scenes, then go to the ‘All scene’ and everything will be visible.

Could you try this and let me know how you go?

Thanks in advance.
