Sloped Concrete Slab

What is the most efficient way to provide slope to a concrete slab generated from the slab tool. Slope only needs to be one way.

Hi JBMI,

I have created a few step procedure with pictures on how to do this.

  1. Draw a rectangle the size of your slab.

  2. Rotate the slab to the slope you are after

  3. Now select the face of the rectangle (so that blue dots will appear)

  4. Go to ‘Floor Tools’ - ‘Slab Tool’

  5. Enter all of the correct information and click submit.

Thanks Dean, this is very helpful and not sure why I didn’t think of it! I had it in my mind that the bottom would be flat and the top sloped. Could the slab tool be used with the sandbox tool as well?

Hi,

Glad that I was able to help.

Yes you will be glad to know that it does work with sandbox. It may not come 100% correct on the bottom of the slab but the top is normally correct. It will also be correct for estimation.

Kind Regards
Dean
